Sno-Search / Killington lessons can only be booked with request and payment prior to arrival. We need to have all required information, (see below) at least 5 days prior to arrival. We will not be able to provide lesson options upon arrival.  Guests will have to go to the “Snow School” desk directly to obtain lesson program information.

The Killington Ski and Snowboard School has Adult lessons for all ability levels. The adult group lessons are Max 5 program, guaranteeing no more than five students per class. Smaller groups allow the instructors to focus on a personalized learning environment. The Snowshed learning area features novice terrain that allows beginners get a successful start. For blue level and higher, your group lesson will take place on blue square terrain to more difficult trails.

Killington matches you to the right class by first asking you to classify yourself into one of four categories. Once on the mountain, the instructors we will help you determine the best level within that category in order to maximize your learning experience.

First Timer - First time on skis or snowboard and / or first time on a chairlift.

Green Level - Green level adult group lessons are designed for those skiers / riders who have been on snow at least once before and are starting to feel comfortable on gentle terrain.

Blue Level - Blue level lessons will teach you how to ski / ride on steeper trails, carve more precise turns, flat ground freestyle maneuvers and introduce you to terrain parks. These lessons are designed to help blue level skiers / riders gain consistency and confidence as they advance from blue square runs to black diamond terrain.

Black Level - Black level lessons will help you master and bash the bumps, carve easy turns in fresh snow and refine your skills at a high level. These fast paced lessons are crafted for skiers and riders looking to improve technique in parks, pipes, moguls, steeps and trees.
